Jail sentences

Today it has become very common for people to drive drunk, even though the government has introduced new laws governing fines in these situations, continue to commit such crimes without regard for consequences can bring. It is very inconsiderate when people who commit such acts harm the physical integrity of victims and in the end not reached a resolution.

Many people live in fear of product out on the streets of the irresponsibility of drunk drivers is very sad when victims have to pay the price of bad behavior from these people, I think it should be tough with these situations, well it could be preventing deaths and accidents on the roads.

In general, as in any case the persons who commit any damage will be paying for their crimes. For most small the offense the same way must assume their responsibilities. There are sentences that depending on the act of the person demonstrating the severity of the punishment. The seriousness of the sentence is going to prove or to the durability of the sentence.

If an offender is convicted of multiple offenses during the same trial, the judge must decide whether the sentences for each offense be served consecutively or concurrently. For example, if a defendant is convicted of a home invasion and armed robbery in the same trial, and sentenced to 10 years for each offense, the judge must decide whether the defendant will fulfill both sentences at the same time by a total of 10 years in prison or meet each separately for a total sentence of 20 years in prison.

Each individual sentence must be properly applicable to the defendant either by the offense was committed, must comply with the ruling. The sentences are designed for both purposes: to punish and rehabilitate the offender to pay his debt to society and learn not to repeat the same mistake. It is often debate the effectiveness of criminal punishment system on the rehabilitation of offenders. Of course, the other benefit of criminal judgments is to protect society from people who have been guilty of a crime.
