Migration is when people come or go from one country to move to another, either by economic necessity, political, for work or for sentimental reasons. As regards the political product of the crisis causes that may arise in certain countries.

It is very sad when families take this course with the aim of fulfilling the "American dream" and them can´t, because they are under the illusion of being able to excel and seek a better future. .

People use different methods to cross borders, for example, many of them resort to homemade boats or even small tubes for your journey by sea, others flying to Mexico with the help of the so called "coyotes" or smugglers, are also trying to hide container vessels, trucks and vans.

Other forms they use, is when you pay corrupt officials to enter, just to shape this kind of people do not care what they have to do to achieve their goal, yet they themselves say that risk is worthwhile, knowing that they can run much risk.

Once these people manage to cross the border and arrive in the country who want to try to take jobs that are low income, it is assumed that they should not hire illegal aliens, however, as they must pay their employees the minimum wage, they even paid much lower wages. Undocumented after running the risk of deportation in their places of work, also get to have kids there knowing that tomorrow a deportation case could not take their children back.

I think that despite the hopes of many people to achieve this, the immigration authorities should set tough with these situations in order to prevent many people from invading other countries.

Movie

Yesterday I went to see a movie to mall San Pedro. The movie was “Love and other drugs”.

This movie was about a boy, is a person who does not care, no feelings, personality free, don’t have a professional career and the only thing that matters is to have sex with any girl. Time goes by the change a lot of work and continues to meet girls, until he finds a job at a pharmaceutical company, where he have to try sell a product to company pull out.

In one clinic where he comes, here meeting with a patient who is a girl very beautiful but she refuses, then he likes her and on girl had rejected earlier. Pass the time, and they are meeting more, but she does not want a stable relationship because she is ill. She has Parkinson, but he doesn´t matter.

They come to love and have discussions because she does not want that life should be ordered to look after her while her illness worse. But he is willing to do anything and decides he wants to make her life with her.

I like a lot this movie because it leaves a very nice message, and the only thing he cares about is love and to be happy and make her happy despite the circumstances.

Global Warming

Global warming is when the earth heats up (the temperature rises). It happens when greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitrous oxide, and methane) trap heat and light from the sun in the earth’s atmosphere, which increases the temperature.

Global warming is affecting many parts of the world. Global warming makes the sea rise, and when the sea rises, the water covers many low land islands. This is a big problem for many of the plants, animals, and people on islands. The water covers the plants and causes some of them to die. When they die, the animals lose a source of food, along with their habitat.

Many things cause global warming. One thing that causes global warming is electrical pollution. Also the fossil fuels like oil and petroleum, many people use these sources of energy much more than the sources that give off less pollution. I think that the people should be more aware at the time of use.

One of the most interesting possible solutions for global warming is distributed solar powered homes combined with electric cars. People should conserve the environment more, could plant more trees, and avoid contaminating the rivers, factories use less chemicals.

People want to know what is going to happen in future terms with our world if we keep contaminate our water which is the primary element we need. So it is very important that we fight global warming and try to live in a healthy environment.

Innovation Week

Dear Organizers:

I want to express my opinion about these activities on this letter. I think that the innovation week it’s a good idea because it’s helps to motivate to students to begin a new quarter. Also the students participate and enjoy about the activity.

I went to the Escats concert the last Friday 21^st at 5:00 pm, I liked this activity because I like the music and I think this group is very interesting and beautiful. I like a lot the voice of the principal singer,( Luis Naranjo)

I am supporting the national talent; I think people should support this, so they can grow to be good musicians. I also I think this group can grow more and be even more famous.

Finally, I hope the organizers continue doing these activities and continue to foster

creativity and culture.

Violence

People are protected by rights and obligations that they have to give respect no matter the age, sex, religion or ethnicity. The obligation to protect these rights requires states to prevent abuses of the same against individuals and groups. The obligation to fulfill means that States must take positive measures to facilitate the enjoyment of basic human rights. At the individual level, and we must respect our rights, we must also respect the human rights of others.

Human rights are against all forms of discrimination towards people. Here in Costa Rica domestic violence has been increasing daily. With which we must be clear and stress that are not being respected as the law promotes. The downside of all this that does not respect human rights is that it produces a very significant change in society and this is reflected in the behavior of individuals.

Domestic violence is one of the most serious problems facing our society at this time. People fail to understand that our lives are worth too much to try to eliminate this evil that is invading every time our families. What starts with shouts or shocks may result in death. That is why it is important that all citizens know that in Costa Rica, domestic violence is punished because it violates human rights. Violence is a practice that is not justified under any circumstance and against the socially accepted norms of coexistence, and we must understand that no one is superior to another or another person.
